Oprah Winfreys Childhood

* Oprah winfrey was born on January 29, 1954.

* She lived with her grandmother and was taught to read at 2 and ½.

* Oprah skipped 1^st and 2^nd grade.

* She did well in all of the different schools she went to. ( She sometimes went to a school where her mom lived and sometimes where her dad lived.)

* She had a few jobs such as a radio job and a news job.

* Oprah was in The Color Purple.

* She produced The Women of Brewster Place at her studio, Harpo
