Tiger Woods

Eldrick (Tiger) Woods was born on December 30, 1975 in Cypress, California. One year later Tiger saw his father hitting golf balls into a net. Then Woods took a golf club and he started imitating his fathers, swing. At the age of three Tiger shot a 48 over 9 holes at the Navy Golf Club in Cypress, California. At the age of five tiger appeared on the Golf Diggest the magazine, and on ABC’s That’s Incredible. Three years later Tiger won the Optimist, International, and the Junior Championship. He would repeat this win at the ages 9, 12, 13, 14, and 15. At the age of eight Tiger became extremely great at golf. Tiger’s parents were Earl and Kulitda Woods. Six years later Woods went to Western High School. Then five years later Tiger intended Stanford University, and he continued to play golf. Then Woods married Elin Nordegren. His kids were Charlie and Sam. Elin and Tiger were residences of Orlando, Florida. Today in 2009 Tiger Woods is 6’1 and 185 pounds and 33 years old.

Tiger Woods is an amazing professional golfer. He even starred in a Gillette Commercial. Tiger has 13 major wins. He earned $9,188,321 in the World Cup in one year. Woods won 11 tournaments in 2000. He also won the Masters at the age of 21, and won the World Cup with David Duval.

In 2005 Tiger made a charity for the poor people so they can give money to the poor people to buy clothing. Woods also paid for the minority to play golf.

After doing all that research on Tiger Woods I admire him because when he was only 3 years old and he shot a 48 over 9 at the Navy Golf Club.

I learned about Tiger Woods was that if you put your best effort into everything you can do it.
