Eli Manning

Eli Manning was born on January 3, 1981 in New Orleans Louisiana to his proud parents Archie and Olivia Manning. He has two older brothers named Cooper and Peyton Manning. He and his brothers spent most of their childhood in Louisiana. He comes from a famous football family. He attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford.

While he was in college Eli won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2004. The year before, he received the Maxwell Award for most amazing QB. Eli helped Ole Miss have a good season. He and Ole Miss dominated went to the Cotton Bowl in 2004 with the Oklahoma Sooners and dominated the Sooners. Then, when Eli finished college he got married to Abby McGrew.

He chose to continue playing football, so he plays in the NFL. He was drafted to the San Diego Chargers but later that day traded to the New York Giants. He helped the Giants have a good season but not so well in the playoffs. The next year Eli led the Giants to the playoffs again. Defeating the Dallas Cowboys the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Green Bay Packers. Taking their place in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.

The Giants were down four then Eli saw Plaxico Burress wide open in the end zone and Eli threw it to him and he caught it. The score was 17-14. Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The impact he had on peoples lives is that he plays football and inspires people to play football and he is in Toyota commercial and makes people to by the Toyota cars. The remarkable thing is that he was bad in the beginning of his career and became better in a year. The thing I learned was that Eli Manning won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2004.
